Last night we had a baptism service at São José Free Will Baptist. There were 15 people who were baptized. The evening began with the church choir singing praise and worship songs. Our TEAM sang along with everyone in Portuguese and we were all very blessed even though we didn't understand all the words. We could feel the Spirit moving throughout the church even before the baptisms began.

Before Pastor Kenneth began our TEAM performed a song and our mime. The mime went very well, and everyone was very moved by it. After we finished our mime the São José praise band led us all in more worship.

Pastor Kenneth, along with Pastor Paulo and Bill, who will be ordained Saturday, baptized the 15 candidates. The service was very different than baptisms in the United States. When someone was baptized the entire church erupted in cheers and applause. It was very touching to see how close everyone in the church was.
