E-TEAM Cuba News Archive 2007 Cuba Members Send Word

Hello from E-TEAM Cuba! We arrived in Cuba last week and have been enjoying ourselves very much. We have met many friends and have enjoyed the fellowship with them. Everyone is doing very well. We spent the first week in Pinar Del Rio and are now in Havana until we leave next week. We have been fed very well. Black beans and rice, fried bananas, pork, and bread/butter have been very tasty. We have been drinking lots of agua (water) and coke.

We have visited many beautiful places in Cuba. They have many beautiful sites, caves, palm trees, and beaches. Our friends have taken us to many places to enjoy the scenery of Cuba. We cannot put our pictures on here, but we will share our photos with you when we return.

A few words from each team member. Rachel now likes black beans (honest, mom). Mary Ann says her aunt´s baby better wait! Lindsey says she loves the pineapple here, so please have some for her when she gets home. Caleb says he´s had so much coke, that he´ll never drink it again! Steven says to tell his mom that he is safe and eating lots of food. Joe says he´s gained some weight. Jordan says she likes to climb mountains in the rain (ha ha) --will explain later. Pete and Jane want all parents to know we´ve made a new family, and feel like each of these young teens are our own!
