E-TEAM Cuba News Archive 2008 It's Monday

June 24th, 2008

Today is Monday, and we have another chance to get a message sent to you from Cuba. Don´t know if we will be able to send another message before we return home next week.

We are all doing fine and staying healthy, and we are very thankful for that. We are enjoying our time here in Cuba and are experiencing many new things. God is using this trip to teach us more about Him.

We are in church services every night and have enjoyed meeting many new people. The families who have been traveling with us have become our good friends. We are so thankful for them and the way they are taking such good care of us.

In our service on Saturday night, one young man gave His heart to the Lord. It was a youth rally with 150-200 youth (through age 32) in attendance. Most of them stood at the end to signify their desire to serve the Lord in some capacity in their churches and their cities.

Our team wants to tell you about something we have learned, experienced, or especially enjoyed so far during our time here:

Becky: Hey everyone! Cuba is an amazing place! Their love for Christ is over whelming!

Shane: I especially enjoy being here and still wouldn´t mind staying. Don´t worry mother, I will.

Deana: I have learned that you don´t need material things to make you happy. I hope when I get home that I can grow to appreciate what I have.

Haylee: I really love the people here. They are so amazing. Oh, and the cold showers are great after we sweat.

Chanel: We have an awesome God. I love it here. It is beautiful soves and nature alike. Thank you CFWBC and family and friends for getting me here! Love you all!

Dakota: This is such a blast. Cuba is awesome. God is working here. The people here are on fire for God. I´m so stoked for week two. Bye

Ben: The people are so loving. They love others and God. I wish you all could see and experience this place. I am already not looking forward to leaving.
