E-TEAM France News Archive 2009 Work Day for Our Missionaries
Monday, we spent the day working. We split up into groups and did various kinds of work for some of the missionaries here in France.
Karlee, Bekka, and Kiley went to the Keener's house to help Di clean, while the boys were gone to school. The Keener's have four adorable little boys and the girls are wonderful with them.
Phill, Caleb, Russell, and Jason (an Overseas Apprentice with FWBIM) helped the Teague's sand a shed. They were covered in saw-dust from head to toe! You should have seen them! They all looked like they had blonde hair they were so covered!
Avery, Holly, Becky, Jenna and I (Bethany) worked at Matt and Christina's. We helped paint their entry way, stairway, and hallway upstairs. It was a salmon-pink color and we painted it a creamy white. It was definitely an improvement and we did a good job, if I do say so myself.
It is just as important while we are here, to minister to our missionaries and I felt like today we did just that. The students worked very hard and had a marvelous time doing it. Although, I think the paint fumes did get to some of us (Holly and Avery), but I'm not going to mention any names.
I'm sorry, but the only pictures I have are the girls who were with me!
