E-TEAM France News Archive 2009 Taking it a little easier...

June 25th, 2009

Today we visited a cemetery. I'm sitting here trying to describe to you all what we saw, what we felt, what we discovered. But, I've found there are no words to describe it.

We arrive there and Jerry Gibbs gives us a piece of paper and says, "I want you to count the graves." We did not even get to count them all and we came up with over 7,000 grave markers, and some of them had more than one person buried there. Then we multiplied it by the percentage of Christians in France, only to discover that only about 44 people of those 7,000 graves may have known Christ. The rest have no hope. Again, I am speechless. I really don't know what else to write about this, but think about it.

The rest of the day, was spent in leisure. We went to a French grocery store, and visited a walled city, called Garaunde.
