E-TEAM Hokkaido News Archive 2008 Farewell, Hokkaido!!

Sorry for the lack of posting during the last couple of days. They've been quite busy and tiring.

Yesterday we were busy holding another carnival. This time it was for another church and was in another park. There were fewer kids at this one, but that was expected. Nathan even said that there were a lot more to come then he thought would.

Next we went to the International center. Only so many can attend a party that they invited us too. There were some there who we had met before at the high school. It was a lot of fun. We played games and we were able to sing a song for them. It was a great time of mingling with others and showing Christ through our actions and words.

This morning we all separated into different groups to go to different churches. They were all excited to have part of the E-team group with them. Some of the churches provided lunch after, games, a time of fellowship, and gifts. We all have our own different experience since we were all with different people.

After that we all met in a community center for a goodbye party. For the last two weeks we have been inviting everyone we've met to the party. A good sized group showed up. This was a good chance to witness to all of the people we had met before and had already tried to plant seeds with in our earlier meetings. It went really well. Please pray that the Japanese will understand what the mime and songs meant and think about the messages.

This will be our last update of the trip. We will be seeing Debbie off tomorrow at the airport so she can go back to the USA for her time of furlough. The computer we've been using will be going with her. Please pray for Debbie as she travels and goes around the USA sharing about the need here in Japan. Pray that she'll be able to rest and have the energy she needs.

Please pray for the group as we travel back as well. We are all tired from the last 3 weeks as it is, so any sleep on the plane ride would be wonderful. Pray for our last few days of E-team in Nashville as well.
