E-TEAM Hokkaido News Archive 2009 Konichiwa!!!!

Well its about ten o'clock thurday night! We made it to our final destination at about eleven last night, which was Wednesday for us. We had three flights, Our first landed in Chicago, we had a six hour layover, which we all slept in the terminal the whole time, everyone kept passing us and pointing, it was amusing! Then we flew out of Chicago to Tokyo, three hour layover, then our last from tokyo to Saporro. Our hosts picked us up from the airport at about nine or so and we drove from Sapporo to Ebetsu. Our first meal in Japan was McDonalds! It was great. Then we finally made it to the church and went to sleep right away! We are all still pretty exhausted, but its going great. Our first day in Japan has been really great! We are staying at the church, they have made it a very nice home for us! We made breakfast for ourselves, did our devotions, talked about our scheldules for the next two weeks. Alot of exciting things planned! They took us out on the town, we ate at a Japanese restaurant, it was absolutly amazing, definantly very different, but very good! We did a little shopping, then made our way back to the church. We each gave our testimony's then practiced our mime. Our hosts made us spaghetti for dinner, which was very gracious of them! We finished off the night with getting things ready for our first carnival, which is on saturday! So thats very exciting! Today was a pretty relaxed day, things are really going to start kicking off tomorrow, we cant wait to really interact and start getting involved with everything. GOD has really blessed us with great Hosts, and an amazing oppertunity to spread the word! We are all really excited to minister, and do the work intended!
