Missionaries Brazil Kenneth and Rejane Eagleton Son Ruben gets married to Hannah Joslin
Our son Ruben got married to Hannah Joslin over the weekend.
On the day before the wedding we had a rehearsal dinner with the presence of several friends of the bride and groom. Fifteen former ICA students were present. The food was mostly African dishes (and one Brazilian dish).
The wedding was held in a rural area of Wisconsin on land that belongs to Hannah's parents, Ken and Audry Joslin, Wycliff missionaries. Ruben and Hannah both grew up in Africa. The ceremony was outdoors on the banks of a small river that cuts through the property. The location was very scenic. The day was very hot and humid.
I was already in the US for the National Association and Internacional Fellowship of FWB meetings that took place in Oklahoma City in July. Rejane flew in from Brazil at the beginning of the month. This was the first time since Christmas of 2005 that we were with all of our four sons at once. We are so thankful for the opportunity, even though it didn't last long enough. I am now back in Brazil. Rejane was not able to return with me. She had to put off her return to take care of some immigration papers that keep nagging us. Please pray that the issue can be taken care of quickly and that she can soon return.
Ruben and Hannah are living in Minneapolis.
Enjoy some of the pictures!
