Missionaries Japan Mirial Gainer Renewing Contacts
I'm back in Japan! After delays and lost luggage, I arrived in Japan July 24th. On July 25th my friend (and former hospital roommate) Sayuri Saito emailed with an invitation to dinner at her new house. It was so good to renew the contact with her, her husband and mother-in-law. Her husband's boss and wife were also there.
We enjoyed typical Japanese food (just too much of it!!) with the added enjoyment of a bird's-eye view from their rooftop patio of the fireworks presented by the Japanese Self Defense Force nearby.
Jetlag called for a relatively early end to our meeting. But it certainly was a great opportunity to be with them again.
