Missionaries Uruguay Jaimie and Tammy Lancaster Baptismal service in Rivera
Sunday, the 16th of August the Central church was host to a baptismal service where 10 people were baptized. These 10 people had completed baptismal classes conducted by Pastor Alex, our visiting missionary from Brazil.
The majority of the people baptized were from the Rivera youth group which is made up of young people from all three churches. The Lord is blessing the faithful efforts of the youth workers. The process of planting, watering and reaping has come full circle. Our hearts were also encouraged to hear that 3 of the young men have expressed interest in preaching the Gospel and that all are actively involved in some type of ministry at the present time.
Pray for all those who made this public profession of faith and for the new steps in their spiritual journey.
