Missionaries Panama Steve and Judy Lytle Prayer Requests

  • The school will be offering external studies this year in which students who cannot enroll full-time may come one Saturday a month a take classes. Pray that this program will go well, result in several coming to take classes, and receive Biblical training to serve the Lord.
  • Remember our health. The heat and humidity are harder on us now that we're older, and Judy continues to have a lot of pain with the calcification in her Achilles tendon, and may have to have surgery.
  • We would especially request prayer for the school's efforts toward gaining the recognition from Panama's Ministry of Education for our school (accreditation). Many long hours of paper work, meetings, planning, and providing the needed information are going into the process, and we need the Lord's wisdom and intervention.
  • Please pray for Lazaro and Ariadna Riesgo as they work with us and assume more administrative responsibilities. Also pray that we would have wisdom about hiring some Panamanians to work with us on campus. Lift up our teachers to the Lord: Rolando, Uriel, Myrna, Daniel, Carlos, Lazaro, and Steve will teach first quarter.
  • Pray for the February 25 interviews with prospective new students at the seminary. Ask the Lord to call more young people, especially young men, to attend the seminary. Classes start on March 12.
  • Pray for the two neighborhood home Bible studies some of our students have started in the community. The lady who cooks for us at the seminary and her husband have opened their home and several people are attending, and another family also has requested Bible studies. We are also in the process of starting regular Sunday services. Pray that people would be won to Christ and grow in faith.
  • Please pray for our mission leaders as they make many difficult decisions regarding the financial crisis we are facing. Pray God will supply every need in ways only He can do. We especially need to have an incredible WMO (World Missions Offering). Pray that the $650,000 goal will be met and far exceeded.
