- The parenting class for young moms has gone well for the fall months at Good News Chapel. The moms have expressed great interest in the material and enjoyed Katie Speer's visit (McDonald's oldest child) on December 21st, the last class of the year. The course finishes up in January. Pray for these young moms and their exposure to the Gospel through this class.

- We praise the Lord for he effectiveness of the Tokyo E-team this summer. Not only did the E-team pass out out thousands of pieces of Christian literature for Good News Chapel, but also shared testimonies, songs, and Gospel mime presentations in the local FWB churches and English classes. We also praise the Lord for 3 days of a safe work project in the tsunami stricken area of Northeast Japan.
- Pray for the ministry of the Tokyo E-team that will minister in our 3 Tokyo area FWB churches from June 16 - 28. The team will share in the worship services, assist in a Kids Festival, participate in English classes and experience the culture of this Asian capital. A work day is also scheduled in the Earthquake/Tsunami affected area of Northeast Japan.

- Evacuee centers throughout northern Japan continue to house hundreds of thousands of Japanese due to the destruction from the March 11 earthquake and tsunami. Conditions in many centers have been inadequate. Delivery of supplies to the centers have been greatly hampered because of damaged roads and lack of fuel in the disaster areas. Relief agencies continue to press on in providing needed supplies to these relief centers and to the communities of the devastation.
- Pray for Ruth, Amy, and Caroline as they spend a few weeks stateside to step out of the stressful situation caused by the March earthquake/tsunami disaster of March 11. The girls' Christian Academy closed down for several weeks as power has been limited in the Tokyo area. Also local train line services have been reduced, gasoline and food shortages have surfaced, and ongoing strong aftershocks from the March 11 earthquake continue to be a part of the daily life in Tokyo.
