Missionaries Uruguay Neil and Mandi Morgan Instituto de Lengua Espanola
After countless hours of packing, the time arrived. With 28 suitcases in hand, Monday, August 16, we drove to Charleston, SC, to board a plane for Costa Rica. Despite a seven hour layover in Miami, we arrived safely with some very sleepy girls. After getting settled in our new home, language studies are now in full swing. We are studying at the The Spanish Language Institute in San Jose, Costa Rica, and we have been amazed at how much we have learned already, and sometimes overwhelmed by how much we don't know. Pray for us as we strive to learn this beautiful language so that we can effectively reach the lost of Uruguay.
Our girls have started school as well. They both have fantastic Christian teachers, who speak only Spanish. Emma Catherine is learning new Spanish words daily, and Aubrey, who is still not speaking much, seems to be understanding many Spanish phrases. Please pray for them as they continue to adjust to life and school in Costa Rica.
