SubscribeNews Leadership Course in Madrid in Spanish
It may not sound like much of an accomplishment to hold a leadership course in Spain in Spanish, but it really is. As part of the International Training Alliance, my role is to help transition the training methodology of the Leadership Matters Course into the Spanish-speaking world. It is much more than translating materials. It has more to do with training leaders who understand and support the goals and training objectives of LMC. Not just anyone is gifted as a trainer. We look for experienced Christian leaders who are dedicated to training others by the example of their lives, and are gifted in training.
Susan and I have been working for the last several years with a group of our local leaders in the ethos and methodology of LMC training. For that reason it was a blessing to see this group of trainers completely carry out the mini or weekend LMC Relationship Matters Course in Madrid November 13-14, 2009. The group was from a Word of Life church, representing several different nationalities from Eastern Europe and South America.
The group of young leaders benefitted from the course, but seeing the principles of the training being lived out in the lives of those I have trained is a great blessing.
