Antioch, TN—R J Teague, father of missionary to France Dennis Teague, entered his Savior’s presence around 3:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2013. A month earlier, Dennis learned his father had advanced cancer. Complications led to his death. The 85-year-old, a decorated Korean War veteran, was a member of Maranatha Free Will Baptist Church (1906 Myall SW, 73401; (580) 226-0682) in Ardmore, Oklahoma, where the funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, with Reverend Leroy Holman officiating. “Pray for Dennis and the rest of the Teague family during this time of loss,” requested International Missions’ General Director Clint Morgan. “Times like this are filled with emotions—grief, loss, thanksgiving, and joy are just a few. Ask God to give Dennis peace.” Dennis and his wife Carol have served 35 years as missionaries in France and have three sons: Jered (Nolwenn), Joel (Lydie), and Justin. Lydie Teague, Dennis’ daughter-in-law and a recently appointed two-year intern for missions service in France, is scheduled to speak for the worship service at the Women Nationally Active for Christ convention in Tampa, Florida, on Tuesday morning.
