France: Pray for Cathy Crawford and those working with her to begin a church in Sainte Pazanne. They have met the legal requirements and are continuing to lay the groundwork for evangelization. Ask God to encourage them, to give wisdom and direction, and to prepare open hearts for the gospel.

Uruguay: In a business session on Sunday, August 22, the Emanuel Church in Malvin recommended Robert (a deacon) be ordained as a pastor, and Javier was nominated to be a deacon. Pray for God’s guidance in these men’s lives as they continue to mature in their faith and gain increased responsibility.

Spain: Pray for the Colmenar Viejo Church and Pastor Juan Carlos. Ask God to provide all their needs, give strength and perseverance, and supply fruit for their labor.

Mission Family: As a result of a PET scan, former missionary to Côte d’Ivoire and current board member Paul Creech will soon have biopsies to see if cancer has returned or metastasized to other areas. Pray for God’s sustaining grace and strength to fill Paul, Rhoda, and the children. Ask Him to give wisdom to Paul’s doctors.

Creative Access: Today is day 22 of Ramadan and the 30-day prayer emphasis for the Muslim world. Today’s emphasis is India, home to more than 160 million Muslims and the third largest Muslim-populated country in the world. Over 12 million of these peoples have no known gospel witness. Pray for access to the gospel and understanding of biblical truth. (You can access information daily on our website.)
