The FWBIM strategy calls for 50 workers on staff in Spain. With only approximately 15 on staff at this time, please prayerfully consider the following opportunities for service. (Please note that all candidates must apply through the central office of FWBIM —www.fwbgo.com)

Current Opportunities for Service:

Two Church Planting Teams

By church planting teams, we mean 4 to 9 qualified individuals dedicated to work together in the formation of new local churches in 2 strategic areas of the Madrid Province. Our strategy calls for the formation of 10 to 15 clusters of church, with 3 to 5 local churches in each cluster. We have two churches on the Eastern side of Madrid in and around Alcalá de Henares. The next church planting team will plant the third FWB church in this area, in conjunction with our other two local churches. We also have 3 churches on the Northwestern side of Madrid, in the Sierra Region. The second church planting team will plant a fourth church in one of the towns with no Evangelical church in this region, in conjunction with the other three churches we have in this region.

The teams will consist of a variety of individuals, married couples as well as singles, with varying spiritual gifts and natural abilities in order to have a multi-faceted approach to the work. Under the umbrella of the FWBIM field strategy, team members will conduct their own demographic study and create their own unique strategy to carry out their work. Team members for Ethnic Outreach in Spain

3.7 million immigrants have flooded into Spain in the last several years, overwhelming not only communities, but also local churches. The needs are great. For that reason, there is a strategic opportunity for service in this area. One team is in the process of formation to work in the Southern part of Spain. There is also the need for the formation of a team for this same work in other parts of Spain. For further information,

Workers for University Ministries

Part of FWBIM strategy for Spain calls for work among university students. University workers will be involved in relating their work to one of the existing local church plants, and could therefore also form a part of one of the church planting teams, or work separately while cooperating with an existing local church.

Opportunities recently filled:

National Ministry Center

Workers have formed a team to develop a national multi-purpose ministry center for all the workers in Spain. This is an important part of the FWBIM strategy for Spain.

Leadership Development

Workers have formed a team to assume the work of leadership development, also an aspect of FWBIM strategy in Spain.

Social Outreach

One couple has recently received approval to head up this work.
