Expect great things from God.
Attempt great things for God.

Strategy is a
carefully devised plan of action to achieve a goal. As
Christians, we understand that we serve a Sovereign God.
Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ said He would build His
Church. He sent the Holy Spirit to empower, teach, and
guide believers. God has placed us in His Church and has
graced us with spiritual gifts to use in His service, so
that we may share the Gospel with all people everywhere. We
are Kingdom people, working to build the Kingdom of God in
the hearts of people, as He builds His Church.
At all times and in all places, we understand that we
follow the lead of our Sovereign God. Therefore, this
strategy is our present understanding and practical
outworking of what we believe God is leading us as Free
Will Baptists to do at this present time, in this
particular part of His Kingdom. It is always open to new
understanding and direction from the Holy Spirit of God,
who orchestrates our overall and individual works.
Following the command of the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew
28:18-20, we understand that making disciples of Jesus
Christ is our primary goal. The basic thrust of our
ministry in Spain is discipleship. We understand that to
mean building relationships with people of all ethnic and
social groups to bring them into a growing personal
relationship with Jesus Christ, following and imitating
Him, and then helping them to help others do the same. God
has given different gifts to each Christian, which means
our ministries will be different. Regardless of the
ministry, we believe that in some way it must impact this
primary goal.
We
understand from Scripture that true disciples of Jesus are
a part of His universal Church but also gather in local
assemblies of believers, or local churches. The logical
result of Biblical discipleship is the formation of local
churches. In the Spanish sociocultural context, individuals
converting to Evangelical Christianity need a community to
which they can belong. We believe the formation of dynamic
local churches is crucial to Kingdom building in Spain.
Regardless of what individual workers do, we believe that
in some way their work must contribute to this goal. Having
been sent out by Free Will Baptists, naturally we work to
establish local churches that reflect this doctrinal
perspective.
Spain is a country where millions of people are
disillusioned with their religious heritage. The majority
of Spaniards practice no formal religion. We are convinced
that we must find effective ways to communicate the Good
News of Jesus Christ to these people. The task of making
disciples in Spain is challenging. We invite you to
consider joining us. If you are a child of God, actively
involved in Kingdom work, and feel compelled to help
fulfill this vision, please contact us about a place of
service in Spain.
