Today our e-mail is being sent with sad hearts. Many of you have probably heard about the Spanair plane crash in Madrid on Wednesday, killing 154 people. You may have heard on the news about the details of the engine that caught on fire and maybe even saw some of the plane's debris. We, too, watched these scenes with heavy hearts. We'd flown into that very airport just one week before and we clearly recognized the terrain where the crash occurred.
We received news that one person on the plane was a believer. One person. Only one person (that we know of) out of the 153 who died believed in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. That makes us sad.
It also reminds us of why we are in Spain. We want to share the Gospel with many more people before it is too late. Please take a moment now to pray for the families of the people who lost their lives in this terrible crash. Pray especially for one family from Alpedrete in their loss of one of the airline attendants, who was also the mother of a 20-month-old baby.
Thanks for your prayers for us and the ones we minister to here.
